New Year, New Lifestyle

I know, I know… it’s so cliche!! But there’s something about the New Year that just makes me hopeful that I’ll continue and focus on a new lifestyle change. And every year I disappoint myself. HOWEVER, I truly believe that this year is different.

I’ve started the 2B Mindset through Beachbody. My husband and I have done it before, but we didn’t really focus. I’m truly trying to follow the nutrition advice and make healthy changes to my diet. It’s an amazing program, and I can get you in touch with an awesome coach if you’re interested in trying it out.

Additionally, I’m really focused on finishing “Morning Meltdown 100” also through Beachbody. It’s 100 workouts that is high energy, featuring a DJ!! It also has 2 different modifiers: very beginner and beginner. It makes it so easy for me to complete a workout without feeling like I wasn’t able to do all the moves. Trust me, I still sweat my butt off doing a workout, even when I’m modifying.

I’ve revamped my Daily Routines as well in order to accomodate this new program. I like being able to wake up at 5 am, get my workout done, do devotions, then greet the rest of my day. Want to see what my day basically looks like?

5:00 AM: Wake Up, Brush Teeth, Take Pre-workout, Step on Scale
5:30 AM: Workout
6:00 AM: Devotions, Journaling, Meditation, “I AM” Affirmation
7:00 AM: Kiddos Wake Up, Get Dressed for the Day
7:30 AM: Breakfast
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Play Time, Cartoons, Momma Cleans the Kitchen
9:00 AM – 11:10 AM: School for Oldest
11:10 AM- 12:15 PM: Lunch Break
12:15 PM- 2:30 PM: School for Oldest
2:30 PM- 4:00 PM: Outside Play, Time with Daddy
4:00 PM- 5:00 PM: Get Dinner Ready
5:00 PM- 5:30 PM: Dinner Time
5:30 PM- 7:00 PM: Clean up from Dinner, Bath Time, Jammies
7:00 PM- 7:30 PM: Quite Playtime
7:30 PM- 8:00 PM: Story, Prayer, Songs, Lights Out
8:00 PM- 8:30 PM: Momma Shower
8:30 PM- 9:00 PM: Nighttime Devotions, Lights Out
9:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Sleep

This schedule is very basic and doesn’t include therapy sessions for Georgia or Preschool for the middle child or just changes in life. I try my best to stick to the schedule as best as I can. It really just sets my day up for success!!

Usually on Friday’s I’ll post how my week has gone, my weight loss, and how I feel everything is going. I’m hoping that these posts will help someone along on their journey. It’s going to be very real because I keep losing and gaining the same 5 pounds and I’m super frustrated with it!!
