2021: The Year of the Bounce Back

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I know it’s ridiculous, but the New Year always brings me so much hope. This year was no different, I just ignored the news all day. While I don’t think 2021 will be much different than 2020 in terms of COVID-19 or the unrest that we feel, I do believe that I have a say on how I live my life and how I allow myself to view this coming year.

Like the majority of Americans I, too, have come up with “resolutions” for this new year. It’s nothing new, in fact, it’s basically the same ones that I’ve done for the past 10ish years.

Same old me, same old “issues”. But I’m looking forward to sharing my journey with you!! So I wanted to bring you my plans for this blog and the coming year.

I plan on posting a blog three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Monday: Recipe Day

I’m so excited to bring you new reciepes!!! My goal is to bring some super fun and appetizing Low-Carb Swaps and some new and improved desserts!!! (Macarons anyone?!) I’m also looking for any ideas that you may have, so please, drop them in the comments!!!

Wednesday: What God Says

I love being able to speak about what God is doing in my life and what he’s teaching me from my devotions and meditations with him. I’m probably going to start with more “I AM…” affirmations, because the New Year, New Goals needs some hope and faith behind them. If there’s a subject that you’re wanting to learn more about or just have a favorite verse, please share them with me!!

Friday: Health Update

Because I’m still focusing on my health and wellbeing I’ll be posting a weekly recap about my diet, my exercise, my self care… you name it. It’ll be a very honest outlook on what I’m doing and how I’m feeling. I plan on holding nothing back!!! I’m hoping that my wonderful friends will keep me accountable to my plan and my daily schedule. I’m determined to make 2021 the healthiest year of my life (so far).
